This company was founded in January 1989 in San Marcos, Texas. Our location in San Marcos places us in close proximity to Austin and San Antonio and our position within the IH 35 growth corridor gives us easy access to a fast growing seventeen-county area of Central Texas.

We maintain memberships in the local Boards of Realtors of Austin, San Antonio and Central Texas (New Braunfels, Seguin, San Marcos and Wimberley). We have online MLS capabilities with all of these Boards, as well as the San Antonio MLS, which allows us access to data on the latest sales in these areas. This provides us with the ability to make quick, accurate searches for comparable sales for use in establishing market value.

Our research staff maintains an extensive database of comparable sales from all of the areas in which we appraise property, as well as complete flood zone data from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and up-to-date construction cost information from the Marshall & Swift Valuation service. Our processing staff carefully reviews and prepares all appraisal reports for release to the client.

All reports are proofread for consistency and accuracy, and prepared in triplicate with original photos of the subject property and the comparable sales used. This complete package is delivered or shipped to the client as soon as possible following the appraiser's inspection of the property.

Our appraisers, Donald W. Graham, CCRA, CREA, CRA, RMU and Mark D. Graham, CREA, together have over twenty-three years experience in real estate appraising, and both are State of Texas certified real estate appraisers.

Don Graham holds general certification, which allows for appraisal of all property types, including commercial properties; and Mark Graham is a certified residential appraiser, which allows for appraisal of single and one-to-four family housing and condo/PUD units.

Both appraisers are approved to appraise one-to-four family residences for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (FHA), and Don Graham is approved to appraise larger multi-family units for FHA. Please click here to read more about their unique qualifications.

Our appraisers make every effort to remain informed of any changes in the appraisal profession by attending seminars held by appraisal and lending institutions on a regular basis, in addition to the continuing education required for their certifications.

Don Graham The president of Graham and Associates, Inc., Don holds general certification and appraises all types of residential and commercial properties. He is a graduate of Texas State University with a BBA degree.	Mark Graham Mark is a certified residential appraiser and has been working with the company since its founding in 1989. He is a graduate of Texas State University with a degree in business management.	Leeanne Huff Leeanne, who has been with Graham and Associates for ten years, processes commercial appraisals and does the company's accounting. top of page
